Important change to our online consultation platform
We want to inform you of an important change to our online consultation platform. From Monday 30th October, we will be transitioning to a new online consultation provider to enhance the quality and accessibility of our services. This change will ensure that you continue to receive the best possible care from us. Please note this new online platform will replace our existing provider – eConsult.
What does it mean for patients?
You can submit requests for medical or administrative assistance through our website, similar to the previous process. However, you will now need your NHS number to register and submit a case. If you do not know your NHS number, you can find this via the NHS website: Find your NHS number. The system will then prompt you to confirm your age and gender (please note this information will only be visible to our clinician).
Benefits of the New Online Platform
1. Rapid Assessment: will enable swift assessments of medical needs, promptly identifying patients who require urgent care. Average time to complete the process is 2-3 minutes.
2. Better patient experience: Questions are more intuitive and targeted to the presenting complaint
We understand that change can be challenging, and we are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for you. If you encounter any issues or have questions, our practice operations team is available to support you. Please ask a member of the reception team.
We aim to hold sessions for our patients via the Millway Patient Support Group (MPSG), more details to follow.
